RICHARD’S CAJUN FOODS CELEBRATES 40 YEARS!

The best part is you can get Richard’s products at most grocery stores including Rouses and Winn Dixie and they offer delicious and easy recipes on their website! Here are two great appetizer recipes you can make with Richard’s Boudin and Andouille sausage:

Boudin-Stuffed Mushrooms: INGREDIENTS: 1/2 (16oz) package of Richard's Premium Boudin 1lb white mushrooms 1 Tbsp olive oil 1/2 tsp coarse salt DIRECTIONS: -Preheat broiler and grease a baking sheet. -Wash mushrooms and dry thoroughly. Remove stems and reserve for another use. -In a large bowl, toss mushroom caps with olive oil and salt. -Remove Boudin Sausage from casing and stuff mushroom caps. -Place stuffed mushrooms on baking sheet and broil until nicely browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Cajun Andouille Sausage Dip: INGREDIENTS: 1 (12oz) package of Richard's Premium Andouille, cut into small pieces 1/2 tsp Richard's Cajun Seasoning 2 (16oz) round loaves of bread 8oz soft cheddar cheese, cut into blocks 8oz cream cheese, softened DIRECTIONS: -Carve out the center core of bread within two inches of bottom and sides, keeping bread intact. Cut reserved bread and other loaf into 1-inch cubes for dipping. -Place Premium Andouille pieces into a large frying pan and saute until cooked thoroughly. Add the soft cheddar cheese and cream cheese and stir until melted. Add Richard’s Cajun Seasoning; adjust to taste. -Pour mixture into hollowed out round loaf. -Serve with celery sticks and additional pieces of bread cubes for dipping. -Serve with a spoon or knife to help spread this hearty dip.
